Taos Pueblo Indian Reservations

This was the original church that was invaded by the Spaniards and is now a burial ground.

The Church was built in 1850 and is the newest building in the Pueblo community.
The grounds are separated by a beautiful stream(river) that is pure and is what they use for drinking. There is no running water or electricity in within the walls of the Pueblo village.

Nicholas and in one of the shops. Each shop is in a member's home ran by a family member. Only 15o members live with in the walls full time.

This is "Flower Rock" Nicholas bought an arrow in her shop (home).

Matthew is standing in front of two bread ovens that are still used today.

These adobe buildings need to be maintained annually and patched due to erosion of weather.
